A new Program with a budget of 350 million euros was announced and concerns the provision of working capital to tourism businesses in order to subsidize operating expenses for the first 2-3 months of restarting their operation.
Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries of the Action will be small and medium-sized and large tourism enterprises:
- Hotels
- Rooms to let
- Furnished apartments
- Tourist offices / agencies
- Tourist bus operators
Under certain conditions, businesses operating under the franchiseregime will also beeligible.
Amounts of aid
The amount of aid is calculated on the turnover of the main SMR or the CAR with the largest revenues of 2019 at a rate of 5% for accommodation and 2.5% for other tourism businesses.
For businesses incorporated in 2019 or 2020 it will be calculated on a valo-rata.
The maximum aid amount shall be EUR 400 000 per VAT number.
